I arranged the specimens on the
interesting pieces of timber I had collected. then I set out the
information panels. At the end is the big billboard ready to
go down to the gate. Later we had to make another to go on
that end wall as people didn't
believe they were at an embroidery exhibition - they insisted the specimens were
real
The information on the
panels came from photographs taken over the years as reference
for my work. Graphic Designer Barry Brown reshuffled
them to conform with the style of Gardens
presentations.
Thanks
Barry!
Barry also got the job of hanging the
panels and getting them straight and correctly spaced
Once the panels were up we put the glass tops on the display
cases - and just as well.
Reception staff had a constant job cleaning sticky finger
marks from the glass. Thank you Bronwyn and
Kathryn!
